Bonnie Ruth Hurd, age 86, of Eidson passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at her home. She was a member of Cobbs Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln Hurd,; parents, Mack and Nola Drinnon; brothers, Kyle and Eugene Drinnon, and sisters: Helen Drinnon and Ilean Atkins.

Bonnie, a loving mother and grandmother, leaves to mourn her passing, her daughters, Brenda (Millard) Hartley, Teresa (Ronnie) Bell, and Darlene Amyx of Rogersville, Irene (Ronnie “Al “) Garrett of Eidson, and Sherry (Paul) Hall of Bristol, Va. Grandchildren, Joey and David Bradley of Eidson, Samantha Garrett of Kingsport, Michael (Susanne) Amyx , Wesley Bell, Camellia Bell, Jennifer (Shannon) Mowell of Rogersville, and Selena Parrott of Eidson. Great-grandchildren, Cameron Bradley, Gable Shepherd, Tori Christian, Eli and Nolan Amyx, Josie and Michaela Blankenbeckler, Mackenzie, Linkon, and Rave Bell, Hunter and Audry Mowell. Sisters: Mary Parker and Nellie Oliver of Morristown; brothers, Carl (Nida) Drinnon of Surgoinsville, Dewey Drinnon of Rogersville, J.B. Drinnon of Morristown. Brother-in-law, James (Bernice) Hurd, of Stone Mountain, Ga. Several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at Colboch-Price Funeral Home, then will proceed to Highland Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. J.C. Lawson and Rev. Stevie Rogers officiating.
