Marie O. Walton Lawson age 92 of Rogersville went home to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Wellmont Hawkins County Hospital. She was saved at the age of 14, at Hills Chapel Baptist Church in Blackwater, VA and later joined Serepta Baptist Church in Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Anna Belle Walton, former husband: William A. Lawson. Daughter: Betty Jean, son: David Lawson. Brothers: Olin, Jesse, Charles, and Pee Wee. Sister: Margie Robinson. Special son-in-law: Rick Kinsler. Marie leaves her sons: Victor Ray and Judy Lawson of Church Hill, Richard and Ruth Lawson, Coy Lawson, Michael and Tammy Lawson all of Rogersville. Daughters: Louella and James Davis of Rogersville and Stella Kinsler of Kyles Ford. Former daughter-in-law: Mabel Lawson of Rogersville. 14 grandchildren, and a host of great and great great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 8:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Colboch-Price Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Helton and Rev. Glenn Bradley officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 prior to services. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Highland Cemetery.
